To preserve folklore traditions

The Folklore Preservation Campaign is an initiative aimed at preserving, promoting and transmitting the traditional customs, songs, dances, tales, legends and other elements of the folk heritage of a community, region or country. These campaigns aim to preserve the richness and diversity of folk heritage and ensure that it is passed on to future generations.

We implement various projects to objectify and preserve the different sources and folklore customs, create archives and make them public and accessible.

We organise a number of events, festivals and workshops through which we provide citizens with an up-to-date insight into the country’s customs.

We strive in partnership with the state to ensure that traditions are preserved but also modernised so that they are not only preserved in the national consciousness but also developed by generations in an innovative, modern but identity-preserving way.
