In the name of national identity: the mission of geographical indications

The campaign promotes the use of geographical indications as a symbol of national identity and a means of preserving the country’s cultural heritage.

We inform and work in cooperation with the state apparatus to protect and develop the means for legal recognition of the indications as guardians of the national heritage and the unique characteristics of the local products to which they bear witness. We are creating educational and information campaigns to provide data on the meaning, specificities, the procedure for registration and the consequences of the same.

We aim to provide financial support to local producers, giving them security and the opportunity to develop, by encouraging investment and spreading the supply.
