Bulgarian embroidery

Bulgarian embroidery is one of the elements of greatest importance for the formation of national identity, lifestyle and culture. It has its own hidden symbolism, the deciphering of which requires a range of knowledge passed down from generation to generation.

The Quality of Life Association is creating information campaigns and online platforms to provide citizens with access to knowledge about their true cultural identity, as well as a number of events where local entrepreneurs and producers can be guests to highlight the importance of embroidery, but also to present its modern interpretation in the fashion industry.

We are also seeking and successfully finding funding for artisans and small producers who undoubtedly have a leading role in preserving the tradition and passing it on to future generations.
