Sport - prevention for mental health

The Sport as Prevention for Mental Health campaign aims to raise awareness of the link between physical activity and good mental health, and to encourage participation in sporting activities as a means of improving mental wellbeing.

We organise a range of lectures, seminars and workshops in partnership with prominent professionals in the fields of personal wellbeing, sport and mental health to provide evidence-based information on the benefits of physical activity on people’s mental health.

We promote a variety of activities that create an appropriate environment and opportunity to facilitate access to physical activity for the public. We provide support and mentoring through involvement in various paid courses and personal development projects. We collaborate with experienced athletes and coaches to enable sport to contribute on the development of people’s potential rather than harm their physical health.
